Welcome to my visual diary. This is where I store all my drawings, and also show my journey of drawing. I deeply thank you for taking time to view this blog.
NadareRyu here. I notice that your colouring is going over the black lines. You can fix that by selecting the area so that colouring remains in that set area, even if your brush goes over the dotted lines. The magic wand tool should work just fine for this.
Haha no probs :3 Btw what Wacom tablet model did you get? I gets da Intuos touch small today :"D. Probably not going to use it as much on art as you do, but is invaluable to graphic design for escaping the dreaded pen tool (not to mention osu! on the side [not] :P). Pen tool is so awful T_T Could've possibly done better in that last assignment had I had this tablet. I'll show you the result of that assignment some other day.
The kind I got is Cintiq 13hd. Probably a bit too inconvenient for the first time, but soon or later, I think I will get used to it eventually anyway. It's not cheap, of course. :O Nevertheless, I get lots of things to learn thanks to this device :3
Though, I feel much comfortable by doing the art traditionally, even though I haven't got much improved.
Just make sure that you won't use it for playing Osu! :p
Pen tool will sort of be fine if you know how to adjust the pressure properly though. I mean something like quality of line. And about that assignment, I think I will be expecting that. :)
Went for the big guns right away ay? Pen tool isn't all that bad, but it depends on what you want. It's good for consistent curves, but if you're using that to draw a shape, better have a template of some sort and not make one from scratch with that thing (ーー;)
It was making the grad design for our grad wear. Just a bundle of brush pre-sets, simple blend manipulation, and transparency manipulation. Seen some very good ones that my friends made owo I'll show you them too when I get a hold of their files ಠ౪ಠ
