Admiration

I always admire my favorite artist's style, Himura Kiseki, and this piece is one of the artist's collections. I find it is very amusing to find a lot of emotions and different faces in a paper. So I decided to challenge myself by copying it. Copying one by one with patience gives me this result. I'm happy.

Today

The first image was made based on reference, and the second image was made based on my imagination. I'm doing poses for improving my skills and so.

Kunoichi

Nothing else to mention, except to say I'm sharpening how to draw poses.

Annie and Sasha

Annie and Sasha, both of them are from Shingeki no Kyojin. There's no particular reasons to make poses like these actually. I'm just doing that for practice.

Midnight

It's this night already, and I still have to do some assignments. Some of them are easy to take care, and some of them are kind of hard to finish. In the midst of doing something, I drew this character, Nakamura Rei.

Right, I shouldn't be disappointed by how I draw anymore and will keep drawing to find the correct way to draw. Always and I will always draw.

Experiment

I'm experimenting with SAI, and this is the result. Don't mind what happened to me for so suddenly drawing this drunken girl. I still have a lot of things to master, especially masking, in the end. Water colors seems to be a correct way to color, but still isn't close to what I want. Maybe, color markers should do. I will give it a try next time. On another note, she seems to remind me of a character who is working as a trainer and teacher from Infinite Stratos (I forgot the name). That's if you don't mind the can.

Fanart

Makinami Mari Illustrious, from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I feel there's something behind her character that gives me an urge to draw her, with a different style which suits my taste most. She is energetic at first glance, and maybe that's the reason ? By the way, I like the twin tail hair she has.

It appears I've not given a much details into the eyes, but they will do enough for now, I think personally because I've got lots of assignments to do. :O

Today

What happened in University today was nothing. After going home, I immediately made this drawing based on the original one. Yes, I copied this for practicing. By the way, I find the hair is very cute and attracting my eyes.

Kujou Karen

I really like the jacket's design, and that's what makes Kujou Karen so cute. Aside Japan, I also love England/British. I dunno why, but perhaps because there's kingdom ? I like traditions, but still stick to modern technology. The mix of those two is like... something different, at another world.

21 September

I've tried everything I could use to draw, but all of them are kind of wrong to use. If that is really not the case, then there must be something wrong with my way. Just where could it have been ?

 If this is said to be good, it will make me happy enough. Though, they aren't still close enough to what I always want. What matters to me mostly is probably about preposition and proportion of body, face and eyes. If only I know how to do it like how Japanese does it, my skill will develop much surely.

But, for now, I guess I have to learn and practice little by little until I finally figure how to give 'life' and 'charming' into the eyes and face. It's unlikely to get a fruit out of a tree after watering it only once a day.

Moe and Shounen style has always been my favorite ever since then. What I need to do is just to be patient, not letting myself become crazy or somewhat.

British girl

For some reasons, she looks like she is from England. Or close to British.

Not only that, I happen to have some interests in Military Uniform and School Uniform. Anything related to formal uniforms, I think. I dunno why, that just happened to me at all. Fantasy uniform also works.

Maiko

I got inspired by the concept of clothes from a popular web game in Japan, so I drew this within a kind of original character.

Basic

I drew this to entertain myself so...... Well, I know I've said this many times but I really wish I know the very basic of drawing Anime and Manga like what those professional Japanese Mangakas do. And along with a right set of equipments and whatever, I'd be more than happy.

Squirrel

A girl loves playing with squirrel. It's really nice in a while to draw with relaxed mind, not focusing on fundamental of drawing too much. I feel that touching cute animal can at least relax minds somehow. Well, in real life, of course.

Ordinary

Like usual, I always draw after waking up. Knowing nothing to do, and having a big desire to draw much better than before, I can only be silent for a while. Keep learning and practicing is the only way.

I always repeated what I already said which made it became a boring one. I sometimes feel it's pointless to speak my mind since none wills to listen me.

Of course, I wish a Japanese Professional mangaka is here to help me. Kantoku-sensei or Himura Kiseki-sensei. I have been hurting my back until now, but the road is still very long so I can't be relaxing. However, the road becomes shorter than yesterday when I take a rest from walking.

Sweet shop

This is a sweet shop I have in my imagination, and tried to make it as detail as possible. Here it is. I believe I will be able to hone my skill little by little, following the flow of time. Then, I will eventually get what I want to create most.

Device

I don't know what this kind of device is, but the size of wheel looks inappropriate though.

Watch Cats

Maybe I'm out of my mind right now. It was when I read story about Watch Dogs, one of playstation 4's games. I observed the main character, and thought it was cool to be able to maintain everything digitally. Not only the skill, I was too amazed by the appearance of clothes. So, I tried to make a girl version of the game in manga style and this was what I made.

So... Watch Dogs... Watch Cats...?

Colored pencil

  
I decided to challenge myself further, as my older brother once said "If you don't challenge yourself, you will never improve." But sadly, I don't know how to use Photoshop properly yet to give a much more effects and values into my drawings. So, I began by using colored pencil for first and this is the result. From right now, I won't be afraid of mistakes anymore. The only way to be professional is to know what mistakes are and repair them.

Btw, the appearance of this girl is based on real life (with a few modifications, of course), but don't ask me who she is or what happened.

Hmm... I just need to learn and practice more.

Preparing

Actually, I was a bit mad at myself because I'm not very professional in drawing, designing, making concept of characters, and everything. So I made this which kind of suited my emotion most, like preparing to do anything so I can get better....... That is nonsense, isn't it ?

Life goes on....

I was inspired by an illustration whose theme is same as what this picture gives, wanting to make a different one but with same theme. The process of living is just...... *hiks*

This one tells about the shy girl who always listens to the boy speaking. Someone who is willing to listen to you all time is very precious in life. I think.... *hiks*

Okay, I think I'm exaggerating it bit.

Winter

I wish there's winter, then I can go outside to buy a can of sweet coffee and refresh my mind from thinking about the fundamental of drawing too much.....

Random

Random drawing, yet random idea came to my mind when I was in the middle of drawing.

Long… long time ago, there was a beautiful country within a mighty kingdom. Every day went so smooth that none would ever expect something dangerous coming. This country rarely created a conflict with any country, making the atmosphere became so peaceful. The army was strong as well, giving a sense of security much better than before.

However, despite the given blessing, there was one thing the country had forgotten to remember. The ‘one’ that everyone should’ve respected from long time ago, yet the country had betrayed the ‘one’ by leaving ‘them’ as a memory only. The memory was hidden deep in a darkness. Then, one day, in order to clear everything once again, the one decided to wake up from darkness and stand up against the country. No. The entire world itself, for something the ‘One’ wanted to tell.

What kind of past does the ‘one’ have that makes him to do such a thing ? What happens next ? Read it !!!!! (I have yet to make a manga even, though)

I was inspired by an illustration which was made by one of my favorite artists, and I wanted to improvise it so I drew this. I actually was going to add more persons above the cat girl, but the paper wasn't big enough so yah.

Archerko, from Fate Stay Night (Doujinshi)

I dunno why I drew Archerko, but that was just my sudden urge to draw her. Indeed, Archerko is one of my favorite heroines, even though there's a hidden fact..... I guess you all should know it if you are anime lover :p.  Aaanyway... I shouldn't stop drawing. :3

Photoshop 1

Photoshop again, with the same way I learned by myself yesterday, the result is like this. Though, I need to learn on how to color as well. As soon as I am able to get my tablet pen, I will be likely wishing to learn further. :3

I'm trying to use Photoshop by instinct, trying this and that. But this is what I got instead..... I guess I have to practice more. Not to mention SAI, I have to learn how to use SAI too. On another note, I'm going to buy a tablet pen. There's nothing wrong by it, right?
