The princess of the sea - part one

After spending a lot of time, yes literally a lot, I finally came to think this is good enough. It feels like a small chunk of burden is taken off from my mind.

As the title suggests, this is part one from this lady. There are still more concepts about this princess of the sea coming next. Then, after those, there are many more WIPs (Work In Progress) on the way as well.

I'm totally aware they also aren't perfect, but first, I must show this now. I have to. Just to satisfy the curiosity of those who doubt what I'm doing, or those who have been sneakily talking behind my back...

Anyway, while they're talking like that, I'll just move on with a cane helping me to reach the peak of a mountain.

I think I shouldn't worry about "perfection" way too much to the point my brain stops thinking. I'll draw as usual while learning on my own. Independent study.

Your skill will get better over time if you keep using it. I firmly believe that, as long as you have the heart willing to learn new ways from your own mistakes.

Especially a heart that's as hard as a bag of diamonds.

2nd January

 Happy New Year.

I want to show some doodles.

These 2 images were doodled on MS Paint with a mouse because I was curious whether if a mouse would fit for drawing or not. It turns out the line's thickness is too consistent for my taste. Paint doesn't have layer either, for Windows 10. I read that there's layer function in Windows 11, but I'm not sure on that. Though you can adjust the thickness with the help of eraser, I still prefer using Clip Studio Paint. And there are still some parts I want to correct, so I'll redraw them again in Clip Studio Paint in the future.

While I've been struggling to finish my main illustrations, I keep doodling... but I think it won't be a problem if I show them doodles from time to time while I'm finishing up one illustration of many.

Yeah, it should be right.... right? my apologies lol...
