I'm aware the date is off, but I've drawn it from the beginning until the end, so please at least let me post it... As a beginner, I'm sorry.
I'm thinking to draw next with the theme of "Hatsumoude"(初詣)
Welcome to my visual diary. This is where I store all my drawings, and also show my journey of drawing. I deeply thank you for taking time to view this blog.

「徹夜の織機」(All-night loom)
During midnight, a pretty lady is calmly looming a cloth from each stage of life; from top to bottom, birth, childhood, studenthood, resistance, adulthood, childbirth, parenthood, death, and then nothing.
.... I actually would love to explain more in detail, but with this abstract concept, I felt a bit down. So maybe later.
Also, sorry for the late update. It took time to finish drawing this.
Finally, I was able to finish a second illustration for the "Summer Girls" exhibition 2025 which will be held in Japan from 16th until 29th August. The title for this illustration is 「夏にかき氷!」 (Shaved ice in summer!). In the previous post, I've shown the first illustration as I planned to submit two illustrations once the deadline came closer, however, it turns out they asked for just one only. So... I picked this second illustration to send to them in the end lol.
But anyway, that's alright. I personally thought that the first illustration is sort of a bit too abstract, so I thought I'd make the theme easier to digest this time. It's simply a lady enjoying summer.
By the way, the place is in Yokohama, named AAA Gallery. You may visit their site here for more details. You can also switch the language to English.
And, I think that's that for this post.
Thank you if you actually do take time to visit the gallery there!
「色に沈む」(Into color)
I don't know if this makes sense, but I'll just convey the concept anyway.
This is meant to express that transition from the greyscale world to the colored world.
That time during summer, the lady was excited when she found out that there's infinite possibilities within the colored world, compared to the time when she was in the finite possibilities within the greyscale world. The so limited greyscale world which only has black and white, and the unlimited colored world which has more than just three standard colors.
It was all thanks to that moment when she chose to be brave and cross the border. After the realization hit her that there was immeasurable world beyond the border, she then became much curious whether if there was another border again.
Though the border might be unreachable due to a too great distance, it didn't discourage her from exploring further so. After all, steps to higher level of education is priceless, and hardly a waste of resources.
Thus, she felt no regrets to move on.
So... with that context, allow me to ask.
Do you too?
Anyway, this will be displayed for the summer-themed exhibition in Japan from 16th to 31st August.
And aside this one, there's one more illustration which is still in progress.
I really hope I can make it in time for this second illustration...
One of many ideas I sketched.
I hope I can actually get the chance to make this into reality by turning them into a manga one day.
Just so the back of my mind won't be itchy anymore, now that I did it. I may do this several times on other illustrations in the future until I'm satisfied. I hope you don't mind lol.
